Description:
The AMUCC (Asociación de Mujeres Caficultoras del Cauca, or roughly: Women Producers Association of Cauca) is a coffee growers cooperative largely composed of women with an average contributor age of 40 years and a majority (274) women contributors, most of which are the head of their households. This coffee is grown in the mountainsides near the city of Cali in the Cauca region of Colombia, in the southwestern area of the country.
Along with our coffee from the CESMACH Cooperative in Chiapas, Mexico and the Sara Ate Cooperative in Takengon, Sumatra, this Colombian coffee is a contributor to our Slow Ride Espresso blend.
Brewing Recommendations:
When brewed in a v60, this coffee exhibits sweet molasses flavors, milk chocolate, nougat and has floral characteristics.
